A philosophy graduate from Renmin University of China, Xing Wei discovered his passion for wine during postgraduate studies in France. Since 2014, he has been a prominent figure in China’s wine education scene, working with Masters of Wine and achieving WSET Diploma certification. With his Master of Wine qualification, Wei has founded a unique wine store and built a significant online presence with 400,000 followers. He teaches WSET courses across China and conducts masterclasses for wine associations and producers nationwide.

Patrick Schmitt MW is a London-based wine journalist and editor-in-chief of The Drinks Business, overseeing both its European and Hong Kong editions, as well as its influential global website. A Master of Wine since 2015, Patrick earned the title with distinction, receiving multiple scholarships during his studies. With a background in Geography from Oxford and Landscape Architecture from Greenwich, he brings a thoughtful, multidisciplinary perspective to wine. He leads the publication’s global awards and Masters tastings, championing excellence in winemaking and sustainability. With over two decades in drinks media, Patrick has become a trusted voice in the industry, known for his editorial leadership, educational engagement, and deep commitment to connecting producers with professionals and consumers worldwide.

Hong Kong-born Anty Fung is a seasoned wine professional with 10+ years experience spanning wine education, wine judging, wine speaking and Food & Beverage management.
Anty is Teaching Consultant at MWM Wine School by Debra Meiburg, where she regularly delivers WSET courses and workshops. She also judges at international and local wine competitions and speaks at various trade fairs and private events. Anty is known for her inclusive, creative style of presentation and delivery.
