Italian Food Demonstration @ HOFEX 2023

The Italian Trade Agency-Hong Kong (ITA) will organise the Italian Pavilion at HOFEX 2023, hosting 12 Italian exhibitors, showcasing various authentic Italian food specialties, ranging from cold cuts, cheese, olive oil, truffles, confectionery and more!

A total of 13 food demonstrations with guided tasting will be presented by 9 Italian exhibitors and ITA: it is our honour to invite Mr. Paolo Monti, an experienced Italian chef from AMA Restaurant, as our guest speaker for the cheese and salumi educational sessions. Chef Monti will present the delicacy of Italian cheese and salumi products, including Bresaola della Valtellina IGP, Salame Milano, Salame Cacciatore, Salame Felino, Prosciutto cotto, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Toscano DOP and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP. Visitors may explore how to use these products to create easy dishes.

For the cheese session on 10 May, the chef will not only give an introduction for the products, but he will also demonstrate how to cut a whole wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. If you are a big cheese lover, then you must not miss this session!
